Vive las verduras

Analyzing the past, present and future influence of architecture on gastronomic trends and formulas. This is the main aim of the 1st International Gastronomy and Architecture Congress, to be held at the Baluarte Conference Centre and Auditorium of Navarra between 21st and 23 rd May 2007. A pioneering initiative on an international level within the framework of activities programmed on the occasion of the 1st International "Vive las verduras" Congress (1st International “Experience Vegetables” Congress) – a meeting point for professionals related to gastronomy, industry, research and culture from different countries.

Main figures from the world of gastronomy and architecture will share speeches in a perfect marriage between both worlds. Coordinated by Francisco Mangado and Juan Ramón De Andrés, the Congress will be graced by the presence of architects of the stature of Kengo Kuma, Eduardo Souto de Moura and Peter Eisenman, in addition to some of the main restaurant owners in the world, such as Ferran Adriá, Quique Dacosta, Martín Berasategui and Enrique Martínez.
