Vive las verduras

A pioneering and unique initiative on an international level whose aim is to promote the sector and the value of vegetables and garden produce via cooperation and the transfer of knowledge between industry – universities and technology centres – haute cuisine. An innovative project.

This Congress is part of an integral joint project ("Vive las verduras") which is being set in motion by private and public initiatives (Sodena) in Navarra in order to encourage a movement in which food researchers, scientists, nutritional experts, artists and cooks may participate. There are many aims: to invent products, create recipes while at the same time enriching the variety of gastronomy, and to promote a citizens’ culture in favour of nature and the natural which provides the financial, health, landscape, aesthetic and taste-related advantages, etc. afforded by the production and consumption of vegetables.
