Ciudad Agroalimentaria de Tudela Awards

For the second year in a row, Navarre’s agri-food capital par excellence, Tudela, gave the Ciudad Agroalimentaria de Tudela awards. Two Quality Gold Medals were given, one to the best delicatessen product and one to the best wine.

2nd Reyno de Navarra - Vive las Verduras Prize

Martín Berasategui, the world-renowned chef, received the Reyno de Navarra - Vive las Verduras Prize from the Regional Minister for Rural Development, Begoña Sanzberro. Ferran Adrià, who was given the same award at the first congress in 2007, handed over the prize baton to the Guipuzcoa-based chef.

2nd Florette Salad Competition, with Martín Berasategui

Mezzanine Room (Baluarte)

A thousand different salads prepared by the students of different cooking schools will compete at the 2nd Florette Salad Competition, supervised and judged by Martín Berasategui. The students of the winning school will spend a day as guests in Navarre, getting to know its vegetable gardens and enjoying its gastronomy, in addition to attending the Martín Berasategui School in Lasarte.

Martín Berasategui will pick the most creative and original salad and will give the prize to the winning team. Each team is expected to submit 30 portions of the same salad in individual dishes but more than one salad per team may be submitted.
