Public tasting

Comics Gran Wyoming and Santiago Segura visited Pamplona on 11 May to conduct a public tasting of Navarra Wines at the Baluarte in Pamplona as a preliminary event to the 2nd International Congress “Vive las Verduras”.

The two celebrities were accompanied by the president of the Control Board of the Navarra Wine Designation of Origin, Pilar García Granero, who led a tasting open to the public which started at 7.00 pm. Eight great Navarra Wines were tasted.

For a symbolic price of 1 euro, participants were given a wine glass to take home with them.

The wines tasted were:

• Red Marco Real Reserva de Familia (Bodegas Marco Real)
• Red Tempranillo Las Campanas (Bodegas Vinícola Navarra)
• Red Reserva Gran Feudo Viñas Viejas (Bodegas Julián Chivite)
• White Emergente (Bodega Marqués de Montecierzo)
• Barrel-fermented white (Bodegas Castillo de Monjardín)
• Red Pago de Cirsus Selección de Familia (Bodegas Iñaki Núñez)
• Sweet Chardonnay (Bodegas Príncipe de Viana)
• Rosé Señorío de Sarría vineyard nº 5 (Bodegas de Sarría)
