Vive las verduras

A pioneering, unique international initiative whose aim is to drive the vegetable industry and foster vegetable values through cooperation and the transfer of know-how between the food industry, universities and technology centres and the world of haute cuisine an innovative project.

The second Congress is part of a comprehensive project called “Vive las Verduras” (“Experience Vegetables!”) currently being jointly developed by both private and public (Sodena) initiatives in Navarre to foster a movement that involves food researchers, scientists, nutrition experts, artists and chefs. It has multiple goals: to invent products, create recipes and, as the gastronomic offering grows, to foster a citizens’ culture in favour of nature and all things natural that will encompass all the economic, health, aesthetic, scenic, taste, etc. advantages which are brought about by the production and consumption of vegetables.
