Bloggers’ Meeting


 

Aware of the significant transformation in both gastronomy and communications over recent years, and of the repercussions which this has had and will have on society in general and the world of gastronomy in particular, this encounter of gastronomic bloggers and the first Navarra Gourmet Prize for the Best Amateur Gastronomic Blog were organised.

The encounter was held on the 19th and 20th and three round tables were held:

  1. The gastronomic blogosphere, an emerging reality?
  2. Bloggers as opposed to gastronomic critics, a new influential force?
  3. Vlogs and micro-niche blogs on gastronomy, new opportunities?

Ferrán Adrià presided over the prize-giving ceremony of the 1st Navarra Gourmet Prize to the Best Gastronomic Blogs, alongside the journalist José Ribagorda, editor-presenter of Telecinco News, and Pamplona City Councillor Fermín Alonso. The jury, chaired by the University of Navarra lecturer and author of eCuaderno, José Luis Orihuela, consisted of Carlos Maribona, Roberto González, Miguel Vila and Marta Borruel, who appraised the work and scope of a total of 135 candidates.
