NAVARRA GOURMET

Aware of the major transformation that both gastronomy and communications have undergone in recent years, and of the repercussion this has had and will have on society in general and on the world of gastronomy in particular, this meeting of food bloggers has been organized in conjunction with the establishment of the first ‘Navarra Gourmet Award for the Best Amateur Food Blog’.

The meeting, which will take place on 19th and 20th May, will consist of three round tables:

1. The food blogosphere: an emergent reality?
2. Bloggers versus food critics: new consumer motivators?
3. Videoblogs and microniche blogs about gastronomy: new opportunities?

Participation is free to all bloggers and anyone else interested in the subject. The award will be handed over within the framework of this meeting, awarded by a jury presided over by Professor José Luis Orihuela, a university professor, lecturer, blogger and considered to be one of the great theorists and reference points of the blogosphere.
