The gastronomic society Eskola Zaharra from Álava won the Gastronomic Society Championship held as part of the III International Congress Navarra Gourmet –Live Vegetables. The winners received the €3,000 prize money from the Government of Navarra's Autonomous Community Minister of Culture and Tourism, Juan Ramón Corpas.

The Pamplona society Napardi won the second prize of €2,000 and the Gaztelubide society from Guipúzcoa came third (€1,000).

Seven gastronomic societies cooked typical Navarrese dishes at the final. The finalists were: Gaztelubide and Unión Artesana, from Guipúzcoa, Batzoki Indartxu, from Vizcaya, Eskola Zaharra and Bustinzuri Gaztedi from Álava, El Pocico (Tudela) and Napardi (Pamplona). These seven were selected from a total of 21 societies. The preliminary stages of the championship were held in March and April.

  • El Cangrejo and Amaikak Bat (Guipúzcoa); Eskola Zaharra, Kukubarren, Bustinzuri, Kapaldui, Zapardiel, Kakituti (Alava); Batzoki Indartxu and Sociedad Abando (Vizcaya); and El Pocico de San Cernin, Gazteluleku, Aralar Berri, Casino Eslava, Sutondoa, Napardi, S.C.D.R.G. La Tafurería, El Pocico, Topero, La Intemperie and Peña Athletic de Bilbao (Navarra).
