NAVARRA GOURMET

Ferrán Adrià will be taking part in the closing ceremony of Navarra Gourmet at 7.30 pm on the 20th of May. His role at the congress will not take the form of a normal speech, but, reflecting the style of a popular Spanish television programme (I've got a question for you), the audience will have the chance to ask the prestigious chef their own questions.

On the 20th of April, Adrià's restaurant El Bulli was chosen the best restaurant in the world for the fourth year running. Adrià has also been named "Chef of the year" after receiving the Augie award from the Culinary Institute of America at its annual event in New York. According to Adrià, the award is confirmation that Spanish food is now accepted in the USA and figures among the finest in the world.
